Operation Sacred Trust is a shared commitment to those who have borne the battle and their loved ones throughout the communities we serve. Just as we remained operational through hurricanes, evacuations, and other emergencies and national disasters, we continue to serve to the very best of our collective ability through the current COVID-19 public health emergency.

If you are a veteran in need of assistance from OST but not yet receiving services, please contact our team through this link or call 1-855-778-3411 (1-855-SSVF-411).

To Our Community

Operation Sacred Trust is a shared commitment to those who have borne the battle and their loved ones throughout the communities we serve. Just as we remained operational through hurricanes, evacuations, and other emergencies and national disasters, we continue to serve to the very best of our collective ability through the current public health emergency.

We are guided by the responsibility to safeguard our frontline responders to ensure team members are able to remain active throughout the local, state, and national response to Coronavirus.

Beyond steps outlined in previous communications, we want to update you on actions that impact day-to-day services.

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, access to our Broward and Miami-Dade County offices will be by appointment only. Intercoms will be activated at our locations for appointment check-in prior to access. Veterans reaching an Operation Sacred Trust office in need of time-sensitive assistance without an appointment will be served through by our mobile outreach team.

We have also increased our capacity to provide remote services for veterans able to connect via Zoom, Skype, FaceTime and similar technologies. We ask those seeking OST services through this emergency to reach out prior to coming to our offices for assistance connecting remotely. In addition to providing a higher level of protection against the spread of Coronavirus, remote services will reduce travel time and improve response time.

Veterans who are concerned they may have symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) are ‎encouraged to contact the VISN 8 Clinical Contact Center toll free at 1-877-741-3400‎‎. ‎Clinical staff provide 24/7 virtual care and support, including nurse advice ‎and triage. ‎The service is available at no cost to veterans enrolled for care in the VA ‎Sunshine ‎Healthcare Network (VISN 8).

What This Means

As an American Veteran, Operation Sacred Trust is here for you and will remain here for you just as you were there for all of us long before we met.

Veterans actively receiving care from OST or currently seeking services should continue to do so. Veterans who become homeless or face the immediate risk of homelessness in Broward or Miami-Dade counties will continue to receive the same level of care and dedication for which we’re known.

We appreciate any extra patience that may be needed to establish secure, remote communications. For those requiring in-person assistance, we appreciate additional understanding regarding steps necessary to safeguard sanitized work environments to protect at-risk clients.

Our technology team has ensured staff members working remotely have secure access to all agency resources needed to provide time-sensitive services to every veteran family served.

Attempts by the OST Team will be made to deliver services via phone, email or video-chat whenever possible. Timely appointments will be scheduled for those in need of in-person assistance.
